This property allows the use of polycarbonate pipes in the food industry for transportation of various kinds of liquids: water, wine, beer, juices, milk. The use of transparent polycarbonate pipes allows real-time monitoring of the output.
In addition, extrusion polycarbonate pipes have unquestionably better mechanical properties than glass. High impact resistance makes them almost unbreakable. They are 3 times lighter than glass tubes (1.2 g / cm3) and are easy to process. Cutting polycarbonate pipes can be conventional woodworking tools.
The high temperature range of polycarbonate pipes makes them both frost and fire resistant at the same time. The latter quality means that the use of polycarbonate meets the requirements of fire safety.
